Our history
Our history begins – with the man who gave his name to our company, José Escuder Muntadas. He was a visionary man, with a twinkle in his eye and the self-confidence to start a small business that is still going strong today.
It was 1896 when José opened his own drugstore in Entenza Street in Barcelona. It was a smart move, as José had a natural flair for business. He worked for a while, until he offered his customers what we know today as the repackaging service in his ingredients.
