Last Friday, 15 December, we gathered to enjoy our last lunch of the year, bathed in the magic of Christmas and the aroma of the eagerly awaited ham from the ‘Christmas hamper’.
Throughout the year, we share many moments together, but this last lunch has a special glow.
It is a time to share, recognise, give thanks and celebrate our experiences and achievements together.
Although it was the last meeting for our colleague Teresa, who is leaving us to retire.
This year, with the joy of Christmas, we feel a special warmth in our hearts.
One of the highlights is always the performance of our new recruits.
Following tradition, this year Claudia surprised us with a creative and original verse created with artificial intelligence. Not only did she delight us, but she also reminded us of the importance of welcoming new ideas and energy.
Although the highlight of this year was ‘The Invisible Enemy,’ where each of us received an unexpected and symbolic gift from one of our colleagues amid laughter, anecdotes, and ‘good’ wishes.
This Christmas lunch was not just an event to bid farewell to the year, but an internal celebration of our shared strengths and the new adventures that await us in 2024.
With the Christmas spirit in our hearts, we toast to the year that is ending and to the one that is about to begin.
