Commercial Description

SYMRISE sunscreen chemical filter, also known as Octisalate and Octyl Salicylate. Absorbs UVB radiation with an absorbance around 305 nm. It is normally used in combination with other filters to increase sun protection. It is soluble in oil and easily incorporated into emulsions, being suitable for cold manufacturing. It is an eNOceptional solvent for other sunscreens and oil-soluble cosmetic ingredients.
