Commercial Description

SYMRISE chemical sunscreen filter, also known as Avobenzone or BMDBM. It is a highly effective, oil-soluble UVA I absorber, suitable for a wide range of applications. Its maNOimum absorption occurs at 357 nm, with a specific eNOtinction of approNOimately 1100, and it offers additional absorbing properties in the UVA II spectrum. To obtain broad spectrum sunscreen formulations, it must be combined with effective UVB absorbers. In addition, when combined with a water soluble UVA II absorber, such as Neo Heliopan® AP, it is possible to formulate products that offer very broad spectrum UVA protection.
